WHY UMER KHALID, WHY NOT SUDARSHAN TV OWNER IN JAIL?

Monitoring Desk

New Delhi : As SC  has called Sudarshan TV’s  controversial , communal show ‘UPSC JEHAD’ as insidious ( spreading in a hidden  ,injurious way )   , and rabid , it is proper time to ask HM Amit Shah who also handles Delhi police about the biase manner BJP government is being run .

While Umer Khalid , the JNU student activist was arrested by Delhi police under UAPA , why no such action was taken against Sudarshan TV and it’s vitriolic anchor , Editor Suresh Chauhanke for spreading hatred , promoting communal tension and trying to disturb communal peace ?

It must be important to note that Modi Government permitted Sudarshan TV to go ahead with the telecast all episodes of  UPSC Jehad  series in Bindas Bol , the TV show which spreads hatred , SC today stopped pro RSS TV from telecasting remaining 2 episodes until further orders .

This SC verdict is also indictment of BJP Government which failed to uphold the values of the law and took side, in favor of a communal culprit .

This means BJP Government is in agreement behind such hate mongering media products and is reluctant to stop these , even after complaints have been made .

On the other hand, the Delhi police under Amit Shah arrested Umer Khalid over the alleged charges of instigating Delhi riots. The timing of this arrest  , and that too under stringent UAPA law is very important .On one hand , there has been a huge demand from all over the country to arrest Suresh Chauhanke and ban on his TV program for fomenting communal hatred , the Delhi police arrested Umer Khalid instead and BJP Government  showed green flag for the telecast of such rabid communal TV program.

Instead of Umer Khalid , Suresh Chauhanke must have been in jail , if there is any respect for the law and justice .The action and omission of BJP Government in these two cases shows that BJP Government failed to perform its constitutional and legal duty .Therefore , SC intervened in the matter to deliver justice .
