PANJI: Film actor Nana Patekar is in Goa where he broke his silence over the controversy related to film Padmavati .He condemned the threats given to the heroine of the film Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Leela Bhansali when he said that no one has any right to attack any one .
He gave his own example and said that he never attacked any person in his life and he will argue on any matter .He can express himself differently .But he will never use violence against any one .
He said that violence is not a right course of action .He also clarifiedthat if he does not use violence against anyone , that does not mean that he is afraid of some people .”If I can not give life to anyone, I have no right to attack anyone or try to kill anyone,” said film actor Nana Patekar while expressing his views over the threats being issued to film maker Sanjay Bhansali and actor Deepika Padukone .
The actor also said that if such incidents are occurring law must take its own course and whatever the law suggests, such actions must e taken by the authorities.
He also said that he is sure all precautions and steps for the safety of Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Deepika Padukone will be taken by the authorities. He also expressed his faith in judiciary.”No one in our country is bigger than the judiciary. We can freely move around and work .This is because of our judiciary, “he further said praising the role of judiciary.
He said that people must seethe film and then only they can make an opinion about it .He expressed surprise over how some people who did not see the film are criticising the film and are protesting against it .He said that it is the court of public who can deliver the judgement about a film.If a film is good , people will support it , and it is not good they will reject it .
