JHARKHAND TEEN ALMOST MOB LYNCHED AFTER BEING FOUND WITH A GIRL OF DIFFERENT RELIGION

Bokaro, Jharkhand: A large mob dragged in Mohammad Sakir Ansari and almost lynched him after he was allegedly found in a compromising position with a girl belonging to a different religion.

Mob lynching has become an everyday thing in India, any person wakes up to a feeling of being victimised, and just like that, a 17 year old Mohammad Sakir Ansari became the new victim of a lynch mob in Bermo Kathara, Bokaro, Jharkhand where he worked at a Pragya Kendra processing Aadhar cards.

As per the Police, the mob started beating Sakir up as soon as he was found with a girl in a compromising position.

“Few people dragged the youth and beaten him after he was found in compromising position with a girl, family of youth has filed a complaint however nobody has been approached from girl’s side”, said Deepak Pal Kashyap, Kathara DCP in a conversation with the local media.

The situation was earlier intense after people from both communities confronted each other after this incident, soon after additional police was deployed to bring the situation under control.

He was beaten to unconsciousness and saved from death only because the police arrived, he is still unconscious and under treatment.

According to reports, Mohammad Sakir’s uncle has denied the allegations by saying that Sakir left his village Jhirki for Kathara and had opened his office at 7: 30 – 8: 00 am. The room was soon crowded when suddenly a group of men arrived and dragged Mohammad Sakir outside and started to beat him mercilessly.

His parents are unemployed. He is one of three siblings. His uncle alleged that Mohammad Sakir had being targeted by the mob had something to do with his religious identity.

A case has been registered against unknown persons although the video and the photographs clearly identify the hard-hearted mob.
