Inder Kumar, Known For His Supporting Roles In Bollywood Passes Away At His Residence In Andheri

Remember him from Kyun Ki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi? Fear Files? Wanted? Khiladiyon ka khiladi? Well, the Bollywood actor who has also shared the screen space with Salman, passed away at around 2am on Friday. He was 43.

Inder Kumar suffered a heart attack at his residence in Andheri’s Four Bungalows reportedly at around 2 am today.

“He passed away at 2am on Friday morning after suffering a cardiac arrest,” said Inder Kumar’s former father-in-law Raju Karia.

Inder Kumar has worked over 20 films in his career’s time of 20 years.  He was best known for playing supporting roles in Bollywood films such as Tirchhi Topiwale (1998), Kahi Pyar Na Ho Jaaye (2000), Paying Guest (2009) and Wanted (2009). Inder, last seen in the 2011 film Yeh Dooriyan, was currently shooting for his next film Phati Paid Hai Yaar.

Inder also briefly played Mihir Virani in the popular TV show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The actor was quite close to Salman Khan’s family as the two actors have worked together in several projects.

The actor had quite a controversial past too. In 2014, the actor was accused and arrested in a rape case. Inder had maintained that he did not rape the woman, but was in a consensual relationship. Later that year in June, Inder Kumar was granted bail.

He was currently rumored to be working on his upcoming film titled, Phati Padi Hai Yaar. Actress Raveena Tandon, who worked with Inder in 1996 film Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi, took it to Twitter to condole his death.

According to reports, the cremation ceremony will happen this evening at 6 pm at Yaari Road Shamshaan Bhoomi.
