JEDDAH :Saudi Authorities have installed hundreds of the large fans at the Masjid e Nabvi , Madinah which blow water to keep pilgrims cool in summer heat .
These fans are installed in the open areas of Haram Shareef .According to Arab News report , 436 fans which weigh of 120 kg each have been installed in Masjid al Nabvi (Prophet’s Mosque ) in Madinah Munawwara .
Each fan blows 200 liters of water as a fine mist water every hour .This is one of the world’s largest project which is designed to cool pilgrims during sumer heat .The Hajj 2018 is overlapping the summer .
The purpose of such huge fans are to dehumidify outside air and to reduce suspended air pollutants .
Experts also say that installation of such huge fans in open areas can lead to improve the climate conditions during the Hajj and Umrah season .
These will also help to reduce respiratory diseases during and after Hajj and Umrah seasons .
Saudi authorities claimed that such huge fans are installed as a measure of improvement of quality of air in and around the holy cities .
