Govt Can Not Build Ram Mandir : Central Minister

LUCKNOW: A central minister in the Modi government said that the BJP government cannot build Ram Mandir in Ayodhya , and he further said that Ram Mandir – Babri Masjid issue must be solved either by court order or mutual agreement .

The Union minister of state for finance Shiv Pratap Shukla according to Nav Bharat Times commented in the matter of most sensitive issue which is currently being heard by SC of India .Union Minister Shukla  said that BJP never fought elections on the Ram Mandir issue .

He also said that the government cannot build Ram Mandir .He also commented that this issue can be resolved either by the court orders or by mutual understanding between warring parties to the dispute.

He declined government intervention in building Ram Mandir at the disputed site .He also declared that BJP did not fight elections on the Ram Mandir issue , so he suggested that government is not bound to build Ram Mandir .

Union Minister Shiv Pratap Shukla was addressing a meeting in Basti district of UP .His statement may trigger controversy in BJP itself, it is presumed .While the central minister declined government intervention in building of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya , UP CM Yogi Aditya Nath had announced few days ago that his government has proposed to build a 100 meter high Lord Rama statue at the bank of Saryu river  in Ayudhya .

It is said that BJP leadership is very much disturbed by the crowds Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is drawing in Gujarat , which had been the stronghold of BJP .To counter Rahul Gandhi effect , the BJP leadership may be thinking of using Ram Mandir issue .

The UP CM’s announcement to construct a huge Lord Ram statye in Ayodhya is said to an act of political defense.The reported statement of Union Minister Shukla has raised the Ram Mandir issue once again making it a possible political debate in near future  .
