AURANGABAD : A descendent of Nizam of Hyderabad Mr. Dilshad Jah in a press conference alleged that more than 400 acres of Nizam;s land in the Aurangabad city has been illegally encroached .He said that Nizam of Hyderabad lost his huge lands in the city due to the Waqf Board and people with vested interest who conspired together to encroach upon these prime lands .
Dilshad Jah claimed that he is the successor of seventh Nizam of Hyderabad .He alleged that most of the Nizam’s property has been illegally acquired and Maharashtra state waqf board collaborated in this encroachment .
He claimed that the educational institutions floated by late minister Dr.Rafiq Zakaria Maulana Azad College of Arts , Science and Commerce , Taj Vivanta Hotel situated at Roza Baugh , Dr. rafiq Zakaria Girls College Naukhanda , Jubilee Park are situated on the Nizam’s encroached land .
He said that the Indian government had assured the seventh Nizam at the time of annexation of Hyderabad that his properties will be protected .He alleged that the Waqf board while allotting the Nizam’s land did not take permission from the Nizam family .He accused the waqf board for illegally disbursing more than 400 acres of Nizam’s land .
He said that the members of Nizam family will ask the government to hand over this more than 400 acres of Nizam’s land back to them .But if no action is taken, they will file suit in the court to seek justice .
