Arrest Of Nauheera Shaikh : Sharjah T 10 League In Trouble ?

SHARJAH : It is apprehended that arrest of Heera Gold Group Chief Alema Nauheera Shaikh in Hyderabad  may effect adversely on T10 Cricket League to be held in Sharjah .She is the key sponsor of this League .Hyderabad police arrested her in New Delhi and she was brought to Hyderabad .

It is reported that T10 League is already been in controversy as the allegation are being hurled that there is a lack of transparency in the management of T10 League .With arrest of its main sponsor Alema Nauheera Shaikh on the charges of large scale cheating of investors , there may be further trouble for T10 League .

Trouble arose for T10 League last month only when Pakistani Media  baron and ARY chief Mr.Salman Iqbal  resigned from the post of President of T10 League  alleging  lack of transparency , unprofessional ism and lack of structure .

He said that he accepted the office to safeguard the interests of Pakistani Cricketers but as he feared that  T10 L , which is to begin next month is going in other direction , he decided to resign .It seems that he directed his criticism against Heera Gold Chief Alema Nau Heera Shaikh when he said , “We cannot allow Pakistani Cricketers to be misused for vested interests of foreign individuals .”

This is also reported that  film star Suhail Khan , brother of Salman Khan  , who was also one of the sponsors of T10 League , withdrew himself from sponsorship .ARY reported that ICC also expressed concern over the management of T10 League .

It is alleged that one of the team owner involved in T 10 League was arrested in London on the charges of money laundering .But within 24 hours of the news of Heera Gold Group Chief  and T10 League major sponsor Alema NauHeera Shaikh’s arrest , T10 owner and Chairman Shaji Ul Mulk  organized a press conference to announce that despite recent difficulties ,second season of T10 League will begin on November 23 , 2018 .
