1857 : RACIST , SADISTIC BULLY  OF BRITISH EMPIRE IN INDIA

Brigadier General Jhon Nicholson , the East India Company commander  , has been described as a sadistic bully , racist  , bigot  by many experts .An incident of Delhi has been narrated  by Prof. Sean Lang  ,to show his sadistic racist and arrogant character .

“Passing a Mosque one day ,Nicholsan noticed an Imam who engrossed with other things ,had not greeted him with the customary Salaam .He had the unfortunate man brought before him , and with his own hands , shaved off his beard –a deep humiliation for a Muslim , as Nicholson well knew .”

Another example of horrible incident which can now be described as serious war crime, has been reported by Prof. Sean Long in his article .According to which, “In one of the famous stories told of him , during the 1857 uprising and mutiny , Nicholson personally ordered and oversaw the hangings without trials of a whole set of regimental cooks , when the poison was found they had been cooking for his fellow officers .”

Such maniacs like Jhon Nicholson who were butchers of Bahujan Samaj people in 1857 who  masses joined revolt against British rule , but in Britain , such sadistic  murderers were hailed as ‘ manly characters embodying the virtues of British Empire .
