AURANGABAD : Three day Ijtema at Aurangabad evoked unprecedented response as there has been report of 100 km long queue of traffic due to large number of vehicles going towards Ijtema Gah from Ahmed Nagar , Pune , Thane , Mumbai .
According to reports many buses which left Andheri – Jogeshwari- Goregaon areas of Mumbai last night were still at Ahmed Nagar after the Namaz e Zuhr which is about 100 km away .
All roads leading towards Aurangabad have been choked up as the traffic is moving at slow pace .Heavy traffic towards Aurangabad is also being reported from other sides of Aurangabad .
Some participants who left for Ijtema today ( i.e. on Saturday ) after Namaz e fajr reportedly could cross Pune by evening .
In Mumbai city last night , it was reported that the demand of buses surpassed the availability .Therefore th prices of fare of buses to carry participants to Aurangabad rose many fold .Such a situation disturbed the plans of many Mumbai Muslims .At some places departure was delayed and at some places alternate arrangements were made .Some organizers said that they paid increased prices due to shortage of buses on the last day .
It is aid that organisers expected huge crowds therefore they decided to close the three day Ijtema at noon on Monday so that all persons who are gathering may disperse during the daylight .
But the traffic and vehicles carrying the participants are beyond expectations therefore it is presumed that there will be much delay in the departure also and it will take much time than estimated for all participants to leave .
The reports also said that tomorrow being Sunday more crowds are expected to leave from Mumbai ,Thane ,Pune and other parts of the state .The traffic jam and long queues of vehicles on the route to Ijtema Gah are expected to remain similar tomorrow also .
